A Minor Mid-Week Disturbance

Good morning, everyone! Are you loving this early taste of the upcoming season or what? We sure are. There’s more of the spring-like trend to come, as temperatures will be on the rise and chances of showers in the evening will remain slight.

Spring…we’re ready for you! (GIPHY)

Threat for Gusty Winds

Today, a pesky low pressure system to our north will have a cold front moving through our area around noon. As of now, we’re only expecting isolated showers to take place in the evening into tomorrow. These will only produce a trace of precipitation.

Projected precipitation type for today from 4pm to midnight (Pivotal Weather)

Our main concern will be the gusty winds ahead of this frontal boundary. There is potential for gusts to reach up to 30 miles per hour. If you plan to be on the road from the late morning into the early afternoon, please drive with caution.

If you weren’t happy enough with yesterday’s temperatures, you sure will be today. This afternoon, the high may surpass the mid-60 mark. We will stay rather warm, only cooling off into the lower 40’s by nightfall.

More Sunshine Tomorrow

Tomorrow, we will once more have high pressure influencing the forecast. We will have plentiful sunshine with calm winds. However, temperatures will be cooler with a high peaking in the upper 40’s.
