Good morning, Kentucky, and happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for a cool and clear week ahead.
Currently…
We are under a freeze warning. The cooler winds, clear skies, and light winds will allow for a freeze for our area this morning. Temperatures are in the high-20s and the road conditions are clear.
Today: Cool & Clear
High pressure is moving over the area which will make way for clear skies and complete sunshine. The temperatures will work their way up into the low-50s this afternoon then drop into the mid-30s overnight.
Tomorrow: Slight Warm Up
Things are warming up tomorrow as the winds start to take a southern shift. This will allow the temperatures to warm up into the low-60s. The light winds and increasing sunshine will create a beautiful Tuesday for this week. Make sure to enjoy it.
High Pressure to Our East on Wednesday
The center clockwise windflower (High Pressure System) will be to our East by midweek. This means southern winds for the win.
The southern winds are going to draw in temperatures in the high-60s, possibly low-70s. This means a nice and clear day to get outside and soak up the sun. As the night approaches, the temperature will drop into the high-40s.
Showers Start on Thursday
Showers are expected Thursday afternoon and temperatures are expected to rise into the high-60s. Not much rain is expected, however, it may be enough to cancel any outdoor activities.
The rain chances go into Friday, as well. The temperatures will range anywhere from the high-60s into the mid-40s toward the end of the week.
Beautiful Weekend Ahead
Temperatures will be in the low-70s and drop into the high-40s over the weekend. Rain chances are slim to none as of now. Make sure to keep an eye on the system coming in this weekend, as the timing can change through the week.
That is all I got for you today. I hope you all are ready for a clear and cool week ahead, because I sure am.
