Sunny Start and Stormy End to the Week

Happy happy Monday, y’all! Hope you all had a great weekend. Looks like we are going to have a sunny start and stormy end to the week.

Today

Current temperatures seem to be in the 70s and some clouds in the sky for your morning commute.

For the most part, sunny skies and the high temperature is expected to hit in the mid-90s. Winds are going to be calm. Today will be another very humid day. Tonight, clear skies and temperatures will be in the mid-70s.

We have some high pressure hanging around our region for the next few days, however, upper-level disturbances will drive rain and thunderstorms into our region by tomorrow.

Tuesday

Temperatures will linger around 90°. Relative humidity will be high and winds will be low, which will cause a high heat index around 100°.

A slight chance of thunderstorms will remain throughout the day and increase as the night approaches. Expect the temperatures to be in the mid-70s.

Wednesday

A strong chance of rain will remain throughout the entire day. Temperatures will top out around 90°. A thunderstorm may develop sometime in the afternoon. NAM is showing some rain chances throughout the evening.

The rest of the week seems to have rain chances and high temperatures, as well. Try to stay cool and dry when the storms roll through.
