As Friday continues, a clipper system will dive southeast through the Midwest region. By the evening hours, there is a chance for some light snow in the Bluegrass counties, but the lower levels will remain very dry; so, no accumulation is expected.
WPC Short Range Forecast valid Friday
Friday night, the aforementioned clipper will move through Indiana, bringing a cold front along with it. The front looks to move through the Ohio Valley on Saturday. Following the frontal passage, temperatures will plummet; earlier in the day, highs will be in the mid 30’s. However, after the front passes, overnight lows will be in the mid-teens with Sunday morning highs only recovering into the mid 20’s.
