Area sky cameras can pretty much tell you the weather story…it’s rainy.
Rain is moving through the region now. This rain has formed ahead of a cold front sitting to the west of the region. That cold front should slowly move in our direction through the rest of the afternoon.
The HRRR model and current radar trends suggest the rain should come to an end by 4 PM. The cold front is expected to move in by 9 PM this evening.
The cold front will bring a shot of colder air into the region tonight. The northwest wind will be responsible for dropping lows to around 37° overnight. High pressure to the north will lead to northerly surface winds again tomorrow, resulting in highs only around 50°.
