Dense Fog Advisory Until 9 am; Breezy and Warm After

The Headline

Well…to start things off, we are under a Dense Fog Advisory until 9 am this morning. Just go ahead and check out the White Squirrel Weather Webcam over WKU…

Ahh, its nice and foggy out there. h/t WKU Weather

So, take it easy if you have to get out there folks. The fog looks to hang around this morning until we get into stiff southerly flow in the warm sector of a developing weather system. This will help the fog to thin, and warm us into the mid 70s.

The warmth will return to the region this afternoon. h/t pivotalweather.com

The breeze looks to strengthen as we head towards tomorrow and a cold front begins to approach the region. We should see gusts in the 25-30 mph range tomorrow afternoon.

This southwesterly flow should bring temps up into the upper 70s to around 80, despite plenty of cloud cover.

This will all come crashing down when a cold front brings rain showers, isolated storms and cold air on Monday morning. I don’t think we have to worry about severe weather with this, which is good.

Monday should see temps drop gradually, going from the 60s in the morning to the upper 50s in the evening. More clouds will hang around all day.
