Quite a chilly start out there according the to Kentucky Mesonet. Overnight lows are occurring as of this writing (5:30 AM). You can see widespread upper 30s across most of Kentucky!
High pressure will remain locked in place across the region today. This will lead to nice conditions throughout the day. Partly cloudy skies should lead to afternoon high temperatures around 67°.
Mostly clear skies are expected overnight as lows drop to around 42°.
Wednesday – Mostly Sunny – High 70° / Wed Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 45°
High pressure will move to the east of the region on Wednesday. This will place south-central Kentucky in weak southerly surface flow. This will increase temperatures to around 70° under mostly sunny skies. Again, a pretty much perfect weather forecast in my opinion.
Partly cloudy skies will be possible overnight as lows drop into the mid 40s across the region.
Thursday – Mostly Sunny – High 73° / Thurs Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 46°
An upper-level ridge will build and strengthen over the region on Thursday. This will lead to evermore warming conditions. Expect mostly sunny skies as highs top out in the low to mid 70s across south-central Kentucky.
Thursday night will bring partly cloudy skies to the region with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
