Good morning, south central Kentucky! I’ve got some great news for those of you who are tired of the heat. It’s going to be absolutely beautiful this weekend with highs in the mid 70’s!

Thanks to a fairly strong cold front that passed through the region yesterday, we’re gonna have some amazing weather on tap today through the weekend! Highs will top out in the mid 70’s across the region with mostly sunny skies. Overnight, lows will remain in the low 50’s across the region through the weekend.

For Friday, high pressure will start to infiltrate the region, keeping us dry and cool through the weekend. Honestly, nothing else really changes to the forecast; highs will be right around 75° with sunny skies. Hot dog! I’m excited!

Saturday will only be slightly cooler than the previous days, as north-easterly wind flow infiltrates the area. Highs for Saturday will be right around 73° with sunny skies. Upper level ridging will really start to build into the region Saturday night, so we can expect a slight warm-up during the second half of your weekend.

Well, that’s pretty much the end of the forecast. There’s not much to talk about other than a nice cooldown for us over the next several days. Saturday looks to be the coolest, so get outside (or stay in and watch college football, either one!).
