Bleh Weather Gives Way To Nice Weekend

Today – Pockets of Rain/Drizzle – High 66° / Tonight – Showers Likely – Low 60°

Today will probably be awful. Just hit and miss pockets of rain and drizzle throughout the day. A lot of potential for “say it don’t spray it rain.” This rain and drizzle will keep temperatures around 66° as the high. Just bleh.

Here’s the HRRR Model take on things. Hint: it’s just kinda gross. I dislike this kind of weather the most…

Showers will continue overnight as lows drop to around 60°.

Thursday – Isolated Showers Possible – High 76° / Thur Night – Isolated Showers – Low 63°

The upper level low will begin to pull out of the region on Thursday. However, isolated showers will still be possible throughout the day. As ridging moves into the region, we should see temperatures perk back up to around 76°. Overall a much better day is forecast than Wednesday.

Isolated showers will remain possible overnight, but should become much less frequent. Lows will drop to around 63°.

Friday – Partly Cloudy – High 81° / Fri Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 63°

An upper level ridge will be strongly established on Friday. This should keep conditions calm and stable. We’ll also see a spike in temperatures as highs top out around 81°. The warming trend should continue for the next few days as the ridge remains over the eastern United States.

Partly cloudy skies should remain in place Friday night. Lows will drop to around 63°.

That should wrap up this forecast. Be sure to follow @wxornotBG and @WKUweather for the latest Bowling Green weather. Have a great day!
