High pressure will move into the region today, leading to some amazing weather! Partly cloudy skies should stick around all day today. Northwest winds will pick up during the morning hours around 5-10 mph. Afternoon highs will get up to around 70°. What could be better weather?

Thursday – Mostly Sunny – High 72° / Thur Night – Mostly Clear – Low 51°

High pressure will become fixed over the region Thursday, leading to similar conditions. Mostly sunny skies are expect as a northwest breeze picks up to around 5-10 mph. Highs will top out around 72°. Just simply amazing weather!

Mostly clear skies are expected to continue overnight. Lows  will drop to around 51°.

Friday – Sunny – High 76° / Fri Night – Mostly Clear – Low 55°

High pressure will remain in place on Friday. Sunny skies seem likely which will help drive temperatures into the mid 70s. Northerly wind around 5 mph will be possible. Needless to say, it’ll be an amazing day once again with a nice taste of Fall!

Mostly clear skies remain in place overnight as lows drop to around 55°.

Tropical Weather Update

The tropics are a bit busy this week…

The major threat to land right now is Hurricane Irma. Hurricane Irma is still a category 5 hurricane as of its last update, with wind speeds of 185 mph. Irma is currently on track toward the Florida Keys and Florida Peninsula area and will likely make landfall as a major hurricane.

Right now it’s unclear where exactly the remnants of Hurricane Irma will track once it comes inland. However, stay tuned for the latest information!
