The Headline
Take advantage of this amazing weather now before the heat and rain chances return once again, and they’ll be back sooner rather than later…
By Tuesday, we’ll be smacked in the face by a nice dose of reality in the form of some good ole Kentucky style heat and humidity. And by Wednesday, we’ll see the return of rain and thunderstorm chances. All good things must come to an end.
The Details
An area of high pressure at the surface has helped a good amount to keep us nice and dry this past weekend.
Today, this large dome will continue to help in providing us pleasant and dry weather. Winds from the north will continue to usher that nice cool and dry air.
However, by tomorrow things begin to deteriorate as humidity begins to make an unwelcomed return…
Temperatures will be much closer to the average high for this time of year (90 degrees) as warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico makes itself at home.
Anndd with this combination of heat and humidity, it will help to prime us for a few isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
