Forecast Discussion
***DENSE FOG Advisory Until 9AM***
Starting off the morning with a dense fog advisory for Bowling Green and the surrounding counties until 9am. Visibility will be greatly reduced so be sure to use extra caution this morning and use low beams if you’re a traveling motorist on roadways.
After this morning, temperatures will steadily rise in the mid to upper 60s!!! Very nice! But showers will start to filter their way into our area by the afternoon hours becoming more widespread by tonight.
After the drought we experienced a few months back, I never thought I’d be saying I’m tired of rain, yet here I am.
There could be a rumble of thunder or two associated with these showers, which will continue into tomorrow. We’ll still see a solid round of rain for a good portion of Tuesday before any clearing takes place as the cold front slides past us. Even with the passing of this cold front, temperatures are still looking to remain about twenty degrees above normal for January. This is my kind of winter.
Now the day I am most excited for is Wednesday, sunshine looks to make its oh so welcomed come back! Hump Day looks to still be just a few degrees above average with highs in the low fifties under partly to mostly sunny skies. It looks to be nothing short of a great day!
