The cold front looks to stall out over central Tennessee tonight and early tomorrow morning, advecting northwesterly winds into our area. This will allow temperatures to drop significantly with Friday afternoon highs reaching the mid 40’s. The heavier rain chances look to end by noon-ish tomorrow, with scattered chances continuing the rest of the day.

The stalled frontal boundary looks to lift north of the region on Saturday, allowing those pesky rain chances to stick around, along with those warmer temperatures. Highs for Saturday will reach the upper 50’s.

Extended Outlook

This active pattern of rain looks to continue through the weekend and into next week. Trending warmer temperatures will also be in the forecast through next week. Total rainfall amounts from today until next Wednesday look to range between 2-4 inches.
