This morning after the showers and a few rumbles of thunder pass, cooler temperatures and overcast skies will follow. Much of this cloud cover is thanks to a surface cold front, which will continue to advance eastward as the day progresses.

Weather Prediction Center: Surface Analysis Map – The cold front is knocking on Bowling Green’s door.

Tomorrow, another small disturbance is expected to pass which could bring us the potential of more rainfall. However, any precipitation that falls will be minimal and scattered across the region for the most part. Bowling Green could see a sprinkle here or there, so packing the umbrella and jacket would be a good idea!

Wednesday, expect to see partly cloudy skies with temperatures hanging around the upper 30s and low 40s across Bowling Green. This will be our last day of average temperatures before a major shot of cold air moves back into the region, brace yourselves!

Today’s Key Points

  • As the rainfall heads out, drier and cooler air moves in
  • Tomorrow, a few scattered showers could impact the area. Keep umbrellas handy.
  • Cold air moves in by mid to late week
