Well, yesterday was a bit cloudier than I expected across the region, and this held temps a bit lower than I expected, with highs only topping out in the mid 80s as opposed to the upper 80s.

You win some, you lose some, right? Well, today is looking warm. Very warm, but not as warm as I expected before. I do anticipate seeing scattered storms form this afternoon with better synoptic forcing and a weak cold front present across the region.

Highs should reach the upper 80s before the storms form in the afternoon. Heavy rain, lightning and brief gusty winds will be the biggest threats out of these.

Overnight, the storm threat will diminish, with lows falling into the mid 60s.


Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, with scattered showers/storms. Highs around 83°FThur. night: Partly to mostly cloudy, with storm chances continuing. Lows falling to around 64°F.

Life goes on. There will be a very weak/stagnant cold front present across our region, slowly sinking to the southeast as time progresses onward.

This will be a focus of showers/storms across the region, and it does look as if these conditions will prevail for much of the day. Highs should end up in the low to mid 80s.

Overnight, look for mostly cloudy skies, with lows falling into the mid 60s with a chance of storms.


Friday: Partly cloudy, with highs around 85°F. Fri. night: Mostly cloudy, with isolated showers possible. Lows around 65°F.

Friday looks a bit better, as the aforementioned front should be to our south.

This will provide a cooler, drier airmass across the region (relatively speaking). This should allow for skies to stay in the partly cloudy range, with highs only making it to the mid 80s.

Overnight on Friday, the front may try to lift back north, providing clouds and possible showers. Lows falling into the mid 60s.
