Real-time Bowling Green Radar:
Today 5/20 – Scat’d showers – High 66/Tonight – Mostly cloudy – Low 56
Good Morning, Bowling Green! We’ve been having lower than normal temps the last few days and I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the warmer weather to come back. Luckily, it will start warming up after today. A shortwave trough is moving through the region which will give us chances for scattered showers throughout the day.
Highs will be in the mid-60s today as they have been for most of the week. Once this shortwave trough moves through, high pressure will begin to move in behind it later this weekend. This is when temperatures will really start to warm up!
Saturday 5/21 – Mostly cloudy; chance scat’d showers – High 71/ Saturday Night – Decreasing clouds – Low 54
The shortwave trough will linger into Saturday and could bring light scattered showers in the AM. Highs should make it into the 70s and high pressure in the Midwest will make its way closer to the area.
Expect clouds to start decreasing overnight as this high pressure moves closer. Sunday will be sunny and warm and a nice break from the cooler, cloudy weather!
Sunday 5/22 – Sunny – High 75/Sunday Night – Clear – Low 57
Upper-level ridging and high pressure will settle in on Sunday and make for gorgeous weather for the rest of the weekend and into the early part of the work week. We’ll be looking at 80° weather again soon!
Have a great Friday! As always, continue following @WxOrNotBG for more updates.
