Today 5/6 – Sunny – High 70/Tonight – Clear – Low 53
Good Morning, Bowling Green! Today will be much warmer thanks to upper-level ridging and surface high pressure moving into the area. Things have been a bit chilly lately but luckily highs will make it into the 70s today under sunny skies.
Temperatures will keep warming up over the next few days and will make for a gorgeous weekend!
Saturday 5/7 – Sunny – High 84/ Saturday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 60
Upper-level ridging will still be prevalent over much of the area on Saturday and southwesterly winds will allow high temperatures to make it into the mid-80s. With high pressure still settled in over much of the area, sunny skies will remain for Saturday and the weather will be close to perfect.
Clouds will begin to increase overnight and into Sunday as moisture moves in from a low pressure system in the Midwest. Lows will be around 60 with more pleasant weather in store for Sunday!
Sunday 5/8 – Cloudy – High 80/Sunday Night – Cloudy – Low 62
As the low pressure system moves closer to Kentucky, southerly winds will ramp up across the area and highs will make it into the upper 70s. Rain is in the forecast for Monday giving us a break from the beautiful weather. But hey, at least the weekend will be great!
