Just as a little sneak peak: my forecast period (Today through Thursday) looks really, really nice. Today, we will be sitting underneath a strong ridge axis, which will keep our weather nice and the inclement weather to our west! In response to that, we’ll see temps rise into the upper 60s and lower 70s across the region, and that will be awesome. I am ready for it.

Overnight, be looking for partly to mostly cloudy skies, keeping temps in the mid 50s.

Tomorrow: Nice again, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Highs around 73ºF. Wed. night: Partly cloudy. Lows around 59ºF.

What is going on? Three days of nice weather in a row without rainfall or storms!? Well, we have a very slow moving upper/mid level low pressure system moving across the USA/Mexico border. This is pumping moisture into Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, etc. and is semi-stalling in response to a stronger ridge to its east.

This ridge is what is giving us the nice weather! Today will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies, with highs in the lower to mid 70s.

Overnight, look for partly cloudy skies with lows only falling to the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with isolated showers possible in the evening. Highs around 72ºF. Thur. night: Rain possible. Lows around 62ºF.

Well, another day, another warm forecast. Thursday will be fairly cloudy, though, with mostly cloudy skies predominating the area. This will hold temps in the lower 70s.

By the evening time, better forcing approaches from the west, allowing for isolated showers to break out, increasing to rain overnight. Look for lows in the lower 60s.
