Real-Time BG Radar:
Today 9/11 – Partly sunny; chance of afternoon scat’d showers – High 80/Tonight – Mostly clear – Low 60
Good morning, Bowling Green! If you’re an early commuter, watch out for patchy fog on your way to work. Today’s the day that we’ll really start to see temperatures drop across the region and I can hardly wait! Another cold front will be passing through this afternoon which will give us a chance of scattered showers. High temperatures shouldn’t get above 80 degrees and with dew points around 60 degrees, humidity will not feel as bad as it did last week.
Once the rain has moved out tonight, temperatures will drop to around 60 degrees. I can’t remember the last time I felt 60 degree weather. If you’re loving the forecast so far, just wait until Saturday!
Saturday 9/12 – Mostly Sunny & Gorgeous! – High 70/Saturday Night – Mostly clear – Low 50
High pressure will begin to move into the region on Saturday keeping skies mostly sunny and temperatures around 70 degrees. Let me say that again – 70 degrees!!! Fall is making its first appearance this weekend and I am welcoming it with open arms.
Saturday night temperatures will drop to a chilly 50 degrees. I might have to consider dragging out the sweaters and blankets… you know, just in case.
Sunday 9/13 – Sunny – High 70/Sunday Night – Partly cloudy – Low 50
Sunday will be almost a repeat of Saturday with temperatures reaching 70 degrees and plenty of sunshine. After Sunday, temperatures will slightly start warming up but hopefully we won’t make it past 85 degrees for the week.
We are starting to see a more active fall-like pattern in the upper atmosphere which will likely bring frequent cool downs to the forecast. But hey, I’m not complaining!
Have a great weekend and be sure to check @WxOrNotBG soon for more updates!
