Man, today looks awesome!!

That is, if you like cruddy weather. This week is basically gonna be a copy of today’s forecast. A large plume of moisture is forecast to move up into the area from the Gulf of Mexico. This is in association with a developing, and weak low pressure system that will approach the region tomorrow evening.

The precip looks to be heaviest in the morning hours and into the early afternoon.

The low is likely going to track just to our north, and a brief break in the precip will likely allow us to climb up into the lower 60s. If the clouds are too thick, or we don’t get much of a break in precip, then look for temps to stay in the upper 50s.

As we head into he overnight hours, look for the weak front to come through and end the rainfall overnight. Temps will then fall into the mid to upper 40s.

Another thing to note.  There’s a statewide tornado drill at 9:07 am this morning.  It will likely be raining when this drill takes place.  In other words, DON’T freak out.  There is 0% chance of a tornado today.  When you hear the warning sound around 9:07 am, know that it’s a DRILL.

Wednesday: Partly sunny. High of 63ºF. Wed. night: Increasing clouds. Low of 45ºF.

Wait….there is hope in this forecaster. Hope of something yellow, and bright. Hope of maybe some sunlight!!

…..But odds are it doesn’t happen for much of the day. Wednesday looks to be precip free and actually pretty warm, with temps getting into the mid and maybe upper 60s in some spots. This will have us all in some spring fever.

However, the odds of clouds hanging around into the afternoon seems pretty high. With the system that will be exiting being moisture laden, it looks like clouds could hang around for a bit. The sun, though, could make a return by evening.

As we head into the overnight hours, it looks like temps will fall into the mid 40s with clouds increasing ahead of our next system.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy; Scat’d Showers – high of 63ºF. Thur. night: Cloudy; Scat’d Showers. Low of 52ºF

Well, this is the second day that may not be awful. Temps look to be really nice, as they look to get into the mid 60s ahead of the next slug of moisture into the region. This has me like…

I’m just really excited for the 60s. Precip will be limited, remaining scattered, but clouds will increase across the region into the overnight hours, and this will keep temps down as the next weather maker rolls into the area.

Well, thats all I have for you. Rainfall will continue throughout the week, so make sure to watch the flood prone areas as we have had a lot of water fall over the past few weeks.

Make sure to enjoy the 60s this week, because the future is looking a little iffy in the temperature department. Be sure to follow @WxOrNotBG and @WarrenCountyWX on Twitter for the latest real-time weather. Thanks for reading!
