EF-1 Tornado Confirmed In Clinton County

In the wake of yesterdays severe storms, significant damage was reported in Clinton County.  Many of us experienced loads of hail that downed limbs and leaves, however, this damage was more significant.  The following video was posted on Facebook by Amanda Bray yesterday evening, displaying what appears to be a funnel/tornado taking place near Wolf Creek Dam:

 

The Louisville National Weather Service conducted a storm survey this morning, and their preliminary report confirms that EF-1 tornado damage was surveyed. The storm downed numerous trees.  NWS WCM Joe Sullivan posted this photo this morning displays some of the damage:

The tornado’s preliminary path length was ~1/2 mile with a max path width of 250 yards. No injuries, fatalities, or structural damage was reported.
