Awesome Bowling Green Weather is Awesome

Real Time Bowling Green Weather Radar:

Today 9/17 – Patchy AM Fog; Mostly Cloudy – High 74° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 53°

This morning we’ll likely be waking up to some patchy fog across the region. Be sure to use caution if you encounter any thick fog on your commute to work. The clouds will likely hang around the region due to the cooler than normal temperatures. Colder weather and higher sun angle can cause some pretty thick cloud cover. We saw this occur yesterday. It took a majority of the morning for the sun to finally peek out in Bowling Green.

The cloud cover will also cause our surface temperatures to be a little on the chilly side. However, we will be a few degrees warmer than yesterday. You can expect a high around 74° across Bowling Green and south central Kentucky.

Those pesky clouds will begin to burn off some in the afternoon and evening hours across the region. Thus, you can expect partly cloudy skies during the overnight hours with a low around 53°.

Thursday 9/18 – AM Drizzle; Partly Cloudy – High 75° / Thur Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 53°

Some morning showers and drizzle will be possible across the region to begin the day on Thursday. However, these conditions should quickly clear out of the region as a surface boundary continues to drift away from the region. A cold front will be looming to the north of the Bowling Green area. This probably won’t impact our weather too much for Thursday. Thus, partly cloudy skies with a high of 75° in the afternoon will be the forecast.

Thursday night will bring a drier air mass into the region, which should suppress clouds for the most part. Thus, partly cloud skies and a low of 53° look to be in store.

Friday 9/19 – Mostly Sunny – High 79° / Fri Night – Mostly Clear – Low 59°

Friday will bring more dry air into the region. Morning cloudiness will give way to mostly sunny conditions in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will be returning to just below normal as we’ll see highs approach the 80° mark once more. I don’t think there’s much to complain about here. Did I mention it was Friday? Get hype…but don’t embarrass yourself.

Friday night will offer more stellar weather to the region. Mostly clear conditions will be found across the region as well as a low just below 60°.
