A slow moving complex of storms has lead to serious flooding in eastern Kentucky this evening. Rainfall rates reached an estimated 2-3″ per hour in localized areas according to radar and observations. This has led to several flood advisories and warnings being issued.
We’re all too familiar with flooding issues here in Bowling Green, as we’ve had to deal with three separate flooding events of our own over the past two weeks. Here is a look at the scenes that are continuing to unfold on our neighbors to the east:
