Today’s weather will be another full 24 hours of perfection if you ask me. High pressure to our north is eliminating cloud cover and precipitation, as well as holding down moisture content; this is why it feels so much more comfortable outside. Take full advantage of it if you have any outdoor plans this weekend, it will be nice!

Tonight looks great as well, clear skies and calm conditions will be the expected conditions with lows near 60 across the region.
Sunday 7/6 – Mostly Sunny – High 90º / Sunday Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 64º
Sunday’s weather will be a transition day for us as high pressure to our north drifts east and mingles off the east coast, this will allow for southerly flow to return to the region and the return of warmer weather. Moisture content will increase as well as highs in the area will climb into the upper 80s and near 90 in some places.
Overall, however, not too bad considering it’s July and still perfect pool weather. (Hint)
Monday 7/7 – Mostly Sunny – High 93º / Monday Night – Mostly Cloudy/Iso’d Showers – Low 72º
The start of the work week will come in with warmer temperatures as southerly winds continue, and will advect moisture into our area as well. Dewpoint values climbing back into the upper 60s, and temperatures in the low 90s for highs, will produce heat indices back into the mid 90s.
Cloud cover is expected to increase as well and is no surprise with the warm, moist atmosphere draped over the area. Precipitation chances will increase throughout the day but should be isolated in coverage. Here’s a map for 4pm Monday afternoon:
We need the rain if we can get it, Bowling Green is sitting over 4″ behind in precipitation thus far this year. Jet stream dynamics and a trough to our north in the Great Lakes region will help organize precipitation in the general region, we’ll see how it plays out.
Not a bad outlook whatsoever. Good news is always fun to deliver.
