With yesterday morning’s sunrise came the dreaded scenes out of Pilger, NE. After a large tornado ripped through this town Monday afternoon, images being exported out through social media has been a humbling reminder of how much power Mother Nature truly holds…

The National Weather Service out of Omaha conducted a storm survey yesterday and concluded that this tornado was of EF4 magnitude.
We are confirming several EF4 damage points in Pilger. Details of exact wind speed estimates will be provided once the survey is complete.

They also determined that more than one tornado caused the damage, as was well advertised as this event unfolded. This was the latest as of 3pm yesterday afternoon:
