Lake Superior continues to produce some pretty noteworthy phenomena this summer. Check out this amazing visible satellite image capturing fog in the wake of storms earlier today. The darker clouds are fog and the lighter clouds are the edge of an area of precipitation. The color difference is due to the fog occurring lower in the atmosphere than the clouds above.
