90’s Celebration

Real Time Regional Radar:

—————————————————————————————

Today 6/16 – Partly Cloudy – High 90° / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 67°

For most of the week we’ll be sandwiched between a trough to our west and a ridge to our east. This will place us in a southwesterly flow. Over the week we’ll see temperatures and moisture rise across the region. We’ll probably break the 90° mark at some point this week, if not today. We should remain under partly cloudy skies. In celebration of 90s in the entire forecast, all gifs will be from the 90s because, why not?

During the overnight hours, expect a general decrease in temperature as we lose heating from the sun. We should expect partly cloudy skies to remain in place due to the amount of moisture across the region. Lows will slide down in the mid to upper 60s.

Tuesday 6/17 – Partly Cloudy – High 90° / Tue Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 68°

A rinse and repeat forecast is on tap for the region on Tuesday. Our ridge to the east will remain in place, with perhaps some movement of the upper level high pressure system over our region. A persistent trough will be located to our west, keeping us in that southwesterly flow. I still see temperature topping out around 90° across the region with partly cloudy skies. Another 90° day, another 90s gif…

On Tuesday night temperatures will likely fall back into the upper 60s across the region. Sky conditions should remain partly cloudy.

Wednesday 6/18 – Partly Cloudy – High 91° / Wed Night – Partly Cloudy – Low 71°

On Wednesday we’ll remain in this southwesterly flow in the region. By now, we have been baking in warm temperatures and a moist atmosphere. Thus, I wouldn’t be surprised if temperatures rise a few degrees higher compared to the last couple of days. I would expect highs to top out in the lower 90s across the region, under partly cloudy skies.

You guessed it, more 90s gif action.

Wednesday night will bring low temperatures into the lower 70s across the region. Conditions will likely be pretty humid due to the amount of moisture in the air. We should get a real good taste of a summer night on Wednesday night. Sky cover will remain partly cloudy.
