Tornado Strikes Three States

A fairly unique tornado took place on Saturday. If a tornado could hit just the “right” spot, it did on Saturday on my opinion. According to the NWS in Paducah, KY, an EF-1 tornado touched down in Kentucky, crossed the Mississippi River into Missouri, and crossed the Mississippi River again into northwest Tennessee. Below would be the approximate track of the tornado.

Although the path length was only 7 miles, the tornado did in fact hit 3 states, which is a pretty rare occurrence. You can read more about the tornado here.
