Pleasant Start To The Week

Every…Single…Week.

Mon – Sunny & Nice – High 75 / Tonight – Mostly Clear – Low 52

The fabulous conditions we experienced through the majority of the weekend will last into the start of the work week.  Temp values are chilly, hanging in the mid 40s this morning…wear a jacket on the way into school/work.  Surface high pressure is in place just north of the Great Lakes.  This will give us sunny skies to soak in today, before a few clouds move in tonight.  Surface high pressure is illustrated on the surface model below:

Tues – Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers – High 77 / Tues Night – Same – Low 58

Weak, upper-level disturbance will present the chance at a stray shower or two.  Chances look rather bleak to me.  If we do see any of the wet stuff, it will be in the afternoon.  Otherwise, Partly sunny and nice.  The NAM precip model paints a swath of light moisture across our proximity at 4pm Tuesday:

Wed – Partly Sunny & Enjoyable – High 77 / Wed Night – Clear – Low 56

Dominate upper ridge will build over south central Kentucky, kicking off the start of a quiet period in the forecast.  Sunny skies look to remain in place until the start of the weekend.  Get through Tuesday, and we should be nice and dry.

That’s all I’ve got, gang.  I’ll be back this afternoon with another update.  Stay connected via Facebook and Twitterfor more frequent info.  Catch you on the flip side.
