The Global Precipitation Measurement mission’s Core Observatory satellite flew over the Nor’easter that impacted the United States this week. The satellite managed to capture these incredible images as the storm moved along the Atlantic coastline. The green, yellow, and red colors illustrate rainfall rates while the blue and purple shades show snowfall rates.
