Week Ends on a Warmer Note

Good morning, everyone! Are you ready for the weekend? We sure are! Though, we hope you’ve had a great week so far. In today’s post, we take a look at how we end our work week and the split forecast expected for this weekend!

No weekend plans? Here’s one: relax! (GIPHY)

Today

If you’re out and about early this morning, don’t forget to bundle up. There is a potential that wind chills will be below freezing until around noon. We advise packing a pair of gloves, too!

Those dangerously low wind chills will be no more in the afternoon hours, though temperatures won’t warm all that much. Our high is anticipated to only reach the mid-40’s. Thanks to the abundant sunshine from the high pressure, we are offered some relief from the cold, but not enough to dismiss a jacket.

This Weekend

For this weekend, the forecast will be rather split from the timing of the passage of a cold front. Saturday, we stay dry, but the approaching disturbance will promote increasing clouds throughout the day. Fortunately, we will be warmer than the work week, with a high reaching the lower 50’s.

By Sunday, those pesky chances of precipitation will have returned to the forecast. These scattered showers are expected to start up in the morning and close out by the evening. As of now, the brunt of the precipitation looks to take place in the evening, so be careful if you plan to be on the roadways, as they may be slick.
