Rain Chances Return

Good morning, everyone! We have finally made it to Friday during a week of beautiful, dry conditions. Unfortunately, these conditions do not stick around for the weekend as rain chances return to the forecast. Oh, and also…it’s finally October!

Friday Forecast

Today, we are beginning the day under mostly cloudy skies and these clouds will provide for the chance of a light shower here and there throughout the AM. Come this afternoon, we should see that cloud cover begin to dwindle revealing rather nice conditions with partly cloudy skies. The high today will reach around 85 degrees. We stay clear during the overnight as the low dips to the mid 60s.

Saturday

Going from Friday to Saturday, we stand the chance and are likely to see a bit more rain, but it will not be a washout. During the AM, we remain party cloudy but a pop-up shower is not out of the question. However, in the afternoon, it appears that most of the WABBLES will see some sort of shower activity, way out ahead of a cold front. Showers will be on and off throughout the afternoon with breaks in the action likely revealing some sun.

I’m thinking right around lunchtime on Saturday will be the region’s best time to see showers. (Pivotal Weather)

The high temperature will be in the low 80s for the day time, and the low overnight will fall to the mid 60s with shower and storm chances still existing.

Sunday

Sunday looks to be the best day for showers and storm activity in the region. An approaching cold front will provide for sufficient lift in the development of this activity. Expect it to be mostly cloudy throughout the day, with multiple rounds of moderate showers moving through the area both in the morning and evening. In total from these showers, we can expect to have received around an inch of rain by Sunday night.

QPF totals show around 1 inch for BG. (Pivotal Weather)

Headed into to next week, the passage of the cold front will re-introduce high temperatures in the low to mid 70s. How perfect for October!
