Rain Chances are Back in the Forecast… Again

Good Thursday Morning Folks! I hope you enjoyed the overall break from the rain yesterday because unfortunately, scattered rain is back yet again.

Today

Starting off strong with this blog post, scattered rain chances are very present today. This will be very unexciting, however, with the threat being for heat of the day showers and garden thunderstorms.

Model Future Radar (Pivotal Weather)

Since these will be most prevalent during the hottest times of the day, except for the time frame of rain chances to be in the mid-afternoon. I would also expect them to be not very widespread.

Switching gears to the other big aspect of the day, temperatures and highs. I would expect highs to be hovering right around 90, with the feels like temps to be well into the mid to upper 90s.

High Temps for the Day (Pivotal Weather)

Overall, that will sum up the biggest weather stories for the day.

Friday

Friday looks to be almost a complete carbon copy of today in terms of the big picture of the weather. Look for heat of the day rain and thunderstorms will be very sporadic and overall not that widespread.

Model Future Radar (Pivotal Weather)

Any storms that stick around until the evening or into the overnight will need to be watched for isolated pockets of strong thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected as of right now, however.

I would also look for highs to remain around 90 again with the feels like temps of course being closer to the mid-90s. Overall, nothing too serious to worry about again.

Model Projected Highs (Pivotal Weather)

Saturday

Saturday is the more interesting day to watch. It is overall nothing serious by any means, but the more dynamic forecast of this blog.

What was a stationary cold front over the mid-Ohio Valley, will finally be making its way towards the WABBLES area. This will of course bring more rain and thunderstorm chances. Overall, however, I would expect a heavy rain threat to persist with any storms that pop up, rather than severe weather.
