Good Monday morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We will be starting this week off the same way this weekend left ended, with some HEAT! I have plenty of additional heat in store in your forecast.
Today
After a pretty nice start this morning with lows in the 60’s, high temperatures this afternoon will warm up quickly, thanks to our good friend, high pressure across the southeast. Temperatures will likely be very close to the 90 degree mark for highs, with some cloud cover by the afternoon.
Tomorrow
Well my friends, we are taking the forecast for today and doing a good old CTRL+V. High pressure will keep tomorrow’s forecast looking almost exactly like today’s forecast, with high temperatures near 90 with a mix of sunshine and clouds by the afternoon. This will be the last day of no rain chances for the next few days.
Looking Ahead
We have had a dry few days across the WABBLES region, but of course, all good things must eventually come to an end. Starting Wednesday, rain chances will increase as a result of low pressure strengthening to our west. These rain chances chances will continue heading through Friday. At this time, we are mainly concerned with just general thunderstorms, but we will keep monitoring the latest model trends.
These rain chances will help to make up for our dry week that we have had. It does appear that the summer pattern is here to stay, though, with temperatures remaining in the mid to upper 80’s through Friday.
That will do it for this blog post my friends. Thank you all so very much for reading, and as always, check out the socials @wxornotbg for the latest weather updates. Have a great week everyone.
