Happy Sunday to you! We hope you are having a wonderful weekend so far! In today’s post, we will go over what to expect today and look into the potential for severe weather tomorrow.
Gloomy Day Ahead
Thanks to approaching low pressure, this weekend will end on a gloomy note. In other words, expect nothing more but increasing clouds that will lead to overcast skies. We hope you got to soak up some sunshine yesterday while you could!
On the bright side, temperatures will be similar to those of yesterday. Our high will reach the upper 70’s and our low will only drop to the lower 60’s. However, a handy jacket might be reasonable with the cloud cover and light winds that are to come.
We can’t rule out a stray shower or two before noon. If so, expect for them to be brief and produce light amounts of precipitation. Notwithstanding, the showers will become more prominent into the evening and overnight.
Potential For Severe Weather Tomorrow
As of now, the Storm Prediction Center has the entire community of WABBLES within a slight risk for severe weather tomorrow. We will have chances of showers and thunderstorms for the entirety of the day. But, the strongest storms will take place tomorrow evening and into the overnight hours.
This will bring about the threat for both damaging winds and large hail. Not to mention, the consistent showers throughout the day will make for precipitation totals that could range from 0.5 to 1.0 inches. As locally higher amounts are possible, be cautious of localized flash flooding.
