Beautiful Saturday in Store

High pressure largely remains dominating the region as sunshine sticks around for the WKU class of 2021 graduation ceremonies. We are beginning the day on the right note with plentiful sunshine and that trend will continue for the rest of the day.

We warm to the high 70s today with light to variable winds making it quite comfortable to say the least. Overnight, conditions stay clear and we drop to the mid 50s.

Clouds Build on Sunday

Sunday, we can expect partly cloudy conditions in the AM and then increasing clouds in the PM revealing mostly cloudy conditions in the evening time. This is all ahead of an approaching low-pressure system that will bring us rain to start the first work week of May.

The high will remain in the low 70s for the afternoon and overnight, showers arrive with a low around 62.

Rainy Week Ahead

All in all, it won’t be the driest of weeks this coming week, especially the first few days. Off and on showers and storms will dominate the forecast Monday and Tuesday. Strong-to-severe storms could move through early Tuesday so stay tuned.
