Mild Conditions Set to Continue

Good Morning Everyone! It has been rather chilly out there this week compared to the heat we have seen over the past few weeks. Not much is expected to change going towards the next few days, but nevertheless, let’s take a look at what to expect!

More Boring Weather Ahead (Giphy)

Today

You can expect today to be a very quiet weather day with simply very little going on. If you have outdoor plans, expect them to go off without a hitch. The mild temperatures we have been experiencing will be staying with high temperatures topping just above 60.

Temperatures by Late Afternoon (Pivotal Weather)

Clouds should be fairly mild tomorrow as well with most of any clouds this morning burning off by the afternoon. Some scattered mid level clouds could be lingering throughout the afternoon it will overall be a beautiful day.

Cloud Cover Throughout the Day (Pivotal Weather)

Perhaps the most notable weather event of the day today will be the potentially gusty winds this morning and afternoon. Occasional gusts upwards of 15 mph will be possible.

Friday

Similar to today, Friday will be rather uninspiring and boring as far as the weather goes. Temperatures remain mild with highs in the lower 60s persisting into the evening.

Temperatures Friday Evening

The skies won’t be quite as clear on Friday as they will be today, however. Rain chances will be returning this weekend and some clouds will start to creep in Friday ahead of the rain. Expect cloud cover to get gradually worse throughout the day.

Cloud Cover Throughout Friday (Pivotal Weather)

Unlike today, however, winds should remain fairly calm with the occasional breeze. All in all, Friday will be another good day outside to frolic.

Weekend

Moving into the weekend timeframe, we can expect a few rain chances to exist. These won’t be anything serious or washouts with multiple inches of rain, in fact, these will be rather timid in terms of total rainfall.

The first chance of rain will exist primarily Saturday Morning and continue steadily into the afternoon. As the rain starts to move out of the area, expect the threat to transition into more of a scattered rain threat.

Future Radar on Saturday (Pivotal Weather)

Other than the rain chances on Saturday, you can expect highs to remain in the upper 50s.

On Sunday we will see another chance for rain, similar to Saturday’s, during the afternoon to evening hours. Again, we aren’t expecting a ton of rainfall with either one of these waves. Overall rain totals below .5″ is looking very likely

Estimated Rain Totals Through the Weekend (Pivotal Weather)

Highs on Sunday will stick to the pattern of remaining in the upper 50s to potentially 60.

Long Range

Looking at the longer range of things, the weather doesn’t look to get much more active next week. We will have the potential for some more rain around the mid week time frame but that does not look like anything to be concerned about.

Model Future Radar Mid-Next Week (Pivotal Weather)

Looking out into the time frame of very late next week into the weekend (roughly April 23-25) the models are wanting to hint at what could be our next real storm system

Model Future Radar into Next Weekend (Pivotal Weather)

This potential system is well too far out to start discussing specifics, rather, it is something that will need to be watched.

That will be it for this blog post, folks! I hope everyone has a great rest of their week and is able to spend some time outside before the rain comes. I encourage everyone to look us up on Facebook , Instagram, & Twitter @wxornotBG for even further updates
