A Gloomy Weekend in Store for WABBLES

It’s the weekend! Unfortunately, we have a rather dreary one ahead. On the bright side, today marks the official start to the spring league for SKY Soccer, one of our beloved partners. Good luck to all of the players!

Yay! The start of a new season for SKY Soccer! (GIPHY)

Showers Persist

Today, a round of showers will pass through our region, starting out scattered in the morning and becoming isolated in the afternoon. Our southwestern counties may see up to an inch of rainfall. Nonetheless, totals aren’t anticipated to exceed a quarter of an inch for most of the community.

As the showers roll in, winds will pick up. We may have gusts reach up to 22 miles per hour. But, for the rest of the day, winds will remain a steady 7 to 10 miles per hour.

As far as temperatures go, there won’t be much variety throughout the day. Our high for the day will peak in the upper 50’s and our low will drop to the upper 40’s. For game day, a spare jacket wouldn’t be a bad idea!

Drier Tomorrow

Tomorrow, any chance of showers will remain isolated, producing light amounts of precipitation. We aren’t likely to receive anything more than a tenth of an inch of precipitation. But, skies will still be rather gloomy with mostly cloudy coverage.

We won’t have a threat for gusty winds, but that consistent, gentle breeze will stick around. No gusty winds are expected at this time. Moreover, temperatures will be about the same as today.
