Winter Storm Poses Threat to Thursday Commute

Good morning to you! If you haven’t had enough of the winter storms, you are going to love today’s post. In it, we will go into detail on what’s to come for the rest of the work week.

Another winter storm…(GIPHY)

Beware of Wind Chills

If you are planning to be out and about early this morning, make sure you layer up. With the combination of temperatures in the teens and wind chills in the single digits, we are more susceptible to frostbite. For tips on how to prepare for the extreme cold, click here.

Winter Storm Watch

Today, in the late morning to afternoon, there is a chance of snow showers. These will be brief and produce light amounts of precipitation. However, as we move into the evening, our community will be under a Winter Storm Warning that will be in effect until Friday morning.

To our best judgement, we are anticipating a mixture of snow and sleet to enter our region this evening (~6PM) and stick around until tomorrow morning (~9PM). As far as precipitation totals go, we are sticking to 2 to 5 inches throughout WABBLES.

Our main concern with this winter storm will be hazardous road conditions. Tomorrow, for commute to and from work, be cautious of slippery roads. Take it slow!
