New Week Starts Off Dry

Good Monday morning, everyone, and Happy MLK Day! I hope you have enjoyed this long and snowy weekend. Snow chances look to dwindle this week, but sunshine looks to replace it! Our new week starts off dry.

Clouds Decrease Today, But Hang Around

Fun fact of the day, most of the snowfall we’ve seen over the past few years has happened on or after January 15th. That has held true again this year! It hasn’t been much, but little snowfall is better than none!

After a cloudy day yesterday, we look to catch a break today as clouds gradually decrease, opening the door for sunnier conditions. The clouds early on, though, will keep temperatures on the cooler side, with highs in the low 40’s.

A low pressure will swing through during the evening and overnight hours that will bring more clouds back to the area, but we can expect to remain dry. Lows drop to near freezing in the mid 30’s before rebounding into the mid 40’s on Tuesday.

Mostly cloudy skies also return tomorrow as a series of disturbances roll through the Ohio River Region, but any precipitation looks to remain to our north. We only get clouds!

Sunshine Briefly Returns

High pressure looks to briefly take over, which will help break the cloudy streak on Wednesday. Plentiful sunshine highlights the day as highs remain in the chilly mid 40’s. A beautiful January day if you ask me!

However, changes come again on Thursday with the passage of another cold front, this time bringing a chance for some showers. Highs in the 50’s will ensure no snowflakes this time!
