Good Monday morning, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Cool weather really came quick after those 80’s last week! Bring the cool weather clothes back out, because gloomy fall weather takes over this week.
Overcast Skies for Monday
The fall season is typically one of our gloomier seasons in terms of how much sunshine we get. That will be on full display this week. Today we won’t be seeing the rain, but we will be seeing the clouds from an approaching system that will bring some rain later this week.
The story of the last few days has been the below average temperatures, and that continues to hold true into today. Highs only look to reach to upper 50’s, so pull out those sweaters!
Temperatures cool back into the low 50’s overnight as some stray showers potentially creep into the area. Otherwise, we’ll stay mostly cloudy.
Next System Approaches with Rain
This week will feature another system that will bring more rain to the area and will help keep temperatures cool. Tuesday will be a copy-paste of Monday with overcast skies and a high in the low 60’s. However, some of us could see some light showers during the day.
Wednesday will see a greater chance for rain as a stationary boundary sets up across the region. Highs return to more average conditions as well in the upper 60’s.
Wednesday night is forecasted to see the bulk of the rain with even one or two thunderstorms thrown in there. We will have more details on that as we get closer to that timeframe.
That finishes today’s forecast. Thanks for reading! Follow our live weather feed @wxornotBG, as well as on Facebook, for all your weather updates. Have a great Monday!
