Approaching Cold Front Brings Shower Chances

Good morning, everyone! Welcome back to another day visiting wxornotBG. Yesterday was a picture-perfect fall day with plenty of sunshine and crisp feeling air. Unfortunately today, we will see increasing clouds as an approaching cold front brings shower chances.

Gloomy Sunday

As we started out the weekend on Friday and Saturday with beautiful conditions, we will unfortunately finish the weekend out today on a different note. It will be quite gloomy as a thick cloud layer builds in out ahead of a cold front.

It will definitely be a good day to cuddle up with a good book because the approaching cold front will also bring in some moisture that will bring increasing rain chances throughout the day.

However, it by no means will be a washout, just a few light showers here and there. The high will climb to a seasonal 67 degrees which is slightly warmer than what we saw yesterday.

Overnight, expect the chance of showers to remain and the low to drop to the mid 50s–much warmer than the frost advisory conditions we saw a couple nights ago.

Similar Monday Forecast

To start the work and school weeks on Monday, expect a similar forecast as the one provided above for today. We will once again be under mostly cloudy skies and will again have chances of rain throughout the day.

I think as of now the showers will remain primarily light and scattered, but models are showing that come afternoon, a heavy widespread band of showers could move through WABBLES. Keep in mind though this is very variant and not at all a guarantee. All in all, I think we will see less than half an inch in rain total between today and Monday.

Mid-week, it appears high pressure will move in the area and and bring back fair weather with temperatures back in the mid 70s and possibly a return to 80 degrees once more.
