Delta’s Weekend Washout

Happy Saturday morning, Bowling Green! I hope all is well, and I hope everyone is excited, because the weekend is finally here! Unfortunately, the forecast is not so bright, as clouds and several days of rainfall are expected due to the remnants of Delta.

Saturday, its WET!

Surprise Surprise! As mentioned above, Delta’s deluge will be the primary focus of the forecast, and today is no exception, of course! Lows this morning will start off in the low 60s, fairly mild for this time of year. Temperatures will only gradually moderate through the day to reach an afternoon high of around 74 degrees.

As the day progresses, rain will become steadier and more intense. Moderate to at times heavy rainfall will be possible in the afternoon and evening hours, with rainfall totals for the day of around an inch to an inch and a half will be possible.

More of the Same Sunday

Sunday will feature more of the same. Yep, you guessed it! More of Delta, and her pesky rain! But no, really, in all seriousness, scattered to numerous showers will fill the sky tomorrow. Similar to today, low temperatures Sunday morning will be nearly identical, in the middle 60s. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-70s as well. Rainfall of up to an inch is likely during the daytime hours on Sunday.

Dry Weather Returns for Columbus Day!

After 2-3 inches of rain falls across W.A.B.B.L.E.S. over the weekend, dry conditions finally arrive for the start of the week. After starting the day in the middle 60s, Columbus Day will feature filtered sun, and most importantly, NO RAIN! Highs will top out in the low 80s, making for a very pleasant afternoon!

That wraps things up for this weekend edition of the blog, I hope y’all make the very best of this soggy weekend, and make it count! Don’t forget to follow us @wxornotBG.
