Quiet Conditions Continue

Good morning, everyone! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend or as many like to call it, the unofficial last weekend of summer. However, I’m here to remind you that summer isn’t over yet as quiet conditions continue this week along with lingering warm temperatures.

Moral of the Story

Basically, our job at wxornotBG as forecasters, comes with a decent amount of ease this week. This is because a surface high to our east is funneling air from it into our region keeping our temperatures summer-like and ensuring we see lots of sunshine.

It looks that a stationary boundary to our northwest will in a way prohibit any active weather behind it from entering our neck of the woods.

So you might be thinking “Okay, okay, you’ve told us the scientific technicalities, but what are the physical conditions of each day going to be?” Lucky for you, I have the answer.

Today, expect sunny skies as we make a run to hit 90 degrees. Calm wind and dew points in the low 70s could make conditions a little muggy but nothing too out of the ordinary. As we head into the overnight, clear conditions remain with the low reaching a perfect 65 degrees.

Rest of the Week in a Nutshell

The rest of the week falling after today looks to be a carbon copy forecast. Folks, we will see consistently beautiful conditions all week full of blue skies, sun, and summertime temps–enjoy it before it’s gone and the seasons change!

How Long will the Great Weather Stick Around?

Unfortunately, this streak of great weather will last only through about Friday. Come Saturday, we see rain chances return and a cooling trend sets in.

That wraps up today’s post! Thanks for reading. Be sure to follow our live weather feed on twitter, @wxornotBG, for all things weather and weather updates. Have a good rest of the week.

Hotter, more sultry weather arrives today; similar conditions follow until weekend, when a cold front brings increasing rain & storm chances.
