Good morning, friends! We’ve been enjoying a blast of cool air in the region making it feel more like October lately rather than early August. Over the next couple of days, we will enjoy the last of the cool temps before a warmup arrives.
We Stay Cool Today
We’re going to juice out a couple more days of unseasonably cool temperatures, folks. With the passing of the low pressure that came through yesterday, a high pressure is following closely behind and will help keep the cool air in the region.
In fact, I don’t think we will crack 80 today. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will limit sun exposure and help to keep our high temperature low at about 79 degrees. Besides the cloud cover, we also have a slight chance of thunderstorms for the afternoon. Many areas will likely stay dry, however.
Overnight, we stay partly cloudy and the temperature drops to a chilly 62 degrees.
Warming Trend Begins
Wednesday brings the beginning of the mercury once again rising instead of dropping. Our high will indeed break 80 and I’m thinking some communities will see the mid 80s. The high pressure will bring mostly sunny, pleasant conditions to WABBLES.
The dew point also begins to climb a tad but by no means makes our air oppressive. The low for Wednesday night is once again 62 degrees.
To finish out the work week, the temperatures continue to warm accompanied by sunny skies. Thursday we hit around 85 and Friday we hit the upper 80s. Welcome back , August!
That’s all for today. Thanks for reading! Be sure to follow our live weather feed on twitter, @wxornotBG, and also on Instagram and Facebook. Have a great day.
