Following the exit of yesterday’s cold front is an area of high pressure that has settled into the region. This high pressure is responsible for bringing today’s sunny skies. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 29 degrees.

The high pressure, represented by the blue line, settles into the WABBLES region. (wpc)

Monday and Monday Night

Monday is shaping to be just as pleasant as Sunday. The region will remain dominated by the high pressure which will again bring mostly sunny skies, and the high reaching 51 degrees.

Monday night, after 7 pm, a small cold front moves into the region bringing with it the chance for rain. These will be very light showers, so nothing to be concerned about, with total accumulation less than a tenth of an inch. The low will be 37 degrees so precipitation will stay as rain.

The GFS has rain showers over the WABBLES region at 4 am Monday night/Tuesday Morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday

Heading into your Tuesday, rain chances will linger as the cold front makes its way out of the region. However, rain chances should completely diminish by noon resulting in sunny skies for the rest of your Tuesday. The high will reach a seasonal 47 degrees. Tuesday night looks to remain clear with the low dipping to a chilly 30 degrees.

Hump day looks to be a lot like Tuesday as sunny skies dominate with a high reaching 50 degrees. Enjoy the dry weather because the next weather-making system will move into the region by the end of the week.
