A sunny and pleasant second half of the week will keep right on rolling into your holiday weekend, albeit with one slight change in programming. The sunshine stays as we’ll be warming up for Labor Day weekend.
Sunny Skies Continue Friday
High pressure remains in control to close out the work week, but it is beginning a slight shift eastward.
This will switch our winds back around to the south, allowing slightly warmer and slightly muggier conditions to start sneaking back into the region.
High temperatures should end up topping out right around 90º, with light afternoon winds and plentiful sunshine. Humidity levels will slowly start to creep up, but should stay out of the “oppressively humid” category during the day. Overnight lows fall back to around 65º after a pleasant evening for high school football.
Much the Same For Saturday
The record machine remains in a state of disrepair…not that it’s a bad thing.
Saturday stays warm and sunny, quite appropriate for the final day of meteorological summer. Not bad if you’ve got outdoor plans…or indoor plans (*cough cough* college football *cough cough*).
Afternoon high temperatures look to continue to hover around 90º as the sunshine will remain abundant and the humidity will remain tolerable, with dew points holding in the mid 60s. You’ll feel it, but it won’t consume you.
*Copy* *Paste* For Sunday…and Monday
We’re looking at yet another warm and sunny day for Sunday, a great day to head in to the pools one last time before they close or to head out with the family for a picnic. Mostly sunny skies remain, with temperatures hanging out around 90º again.
The second half of your holiday weekend looks to remain free of rain, with lows dipping to around 70º or so each night.
Yet More of the Same Through the Week
We’re staying warm, dry and sunny for this shortened workweek as the dry pattern makes itself right at home. Skies look to remain mostly sunny with highs in the lower 90s throughout the week. At least we’re consistently sunny though, right? The only thing that may complicate this forecast is what eventually happens with Hurricane Dorian. But there are still plenty of days to sniff out any potential impacts for us.
