Monday

Like I said, you might need to keep your umbrellas and rain coats handy as you head out the door this morning. Rain will be likely, especially during the morning hours as high amounts of low level moisture surge into the region.

As a piece of energy in the middle to upper levels of the atmosphere continues to push through the Great Lakes/Ohio River Valley regions, it will spark off scattered showers and thunderstorms activity. With the amount of moisture available in the atmosphere, showers and thunderstorms will not have a problem dumping some heavy rain across the area.

Rain chances back off heading into the late afternoon and early evening hours giving way to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures around the WABBLES region will remain in the upper 70s.

I know a lot of you aren’t the biggest fans of rain on a Monday, but the rainfall we do receive will be beneficial because of how dry its been the past month to month and a half. On top of that, temperatures will be a lot better than those 90 degree reading we were experiencing last week.

Thank you to the clouds and rain for keeping the temperatures lower! (Tenor Gifs)

Tuesday & Wednesday

Rain chances come back into the picture heading into Tuesday as a cold front pushes through the region, giving the area another shot at showers and thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rain looks to be the primary threat associated with this next chance of rain. Cooler and Drier air will also push in from the northwest behind the cold free, giving us a small taste of Fall!

Temperatures on Tuesday will hover in the middle 80s with a shot of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon hours associated with a cold front. Wednesday is looking fantastic as high pressure settles in from the west with cooler and drier air accompanying it. Temperatures will stick around in the lower 80s across the area with mostly sunny skies, not too bad ehh!!
