Forecast for Monday

Thanks to an abundance of moisture in the air and light winds during the early morning hours, fog will likely form. As you head out the door in the morning be aware of some patchy fog, especially in the low lying areas and river valleys.

Watch out for some morning fog! (NWS)

The fog will lift during the morning hours giving way to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures around the area will rise into the lower 90s, this will be the theme for the rest of the week. Clouds will bubble up during the afternoon hours which could lead to isolated showers/thunderstorms. For example, a storm could bubble on the east side of town, while downtown and the west side of town remains dry.
