Unsettled Pattern Continues Through this Week

Good morning and happy Monday, folks!! An unsettled weather pattern will continue to bring in rounds of rain and thunderstorms throughout the week.

More Storms for Monday & Tuesday

Today will be very similar to what we experienced yesterday, with the same warm and muggy airmass that has been in place over the region. A small upper-level atmospheric disturbance will provide enough lift to spark and fire off storms during the afternoon.

High temperatures for today across the area will top out in the middle 80s with dew point temperatures in the lower 70s. This combination will make it feel quite soupy outside!

Another disturbance will move its way in from the west Monday night and into the day on Tuesday. As this disturbance moves across the area, low-level winds will ramp up out of the south providing ample moisture to stream into the area.

Low temperatures for tonight will hover in the upper 60s. Shower and thunderstorm activity stays around heading into Tuesday. The main issue with this round of showers and thunderstorms will be heavy rain which will pose a threat of some flash flooding.

High temperatures across the area on Tuesday will top out in the lower 80s. Rain chances look to dimish heading into Tuesday night with a short dry spell heading into Wednesday morning.

Late Week Storms Will Continue

The daily storm chances continue heading into the second half of the work week. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side, but the main threat will be heavy rain.

The forecast calls for both Wednesday and Thursday to have solid chances of some summertime gully washers. Your umbrella will be a necessity this week!!
